Los Angeles songstress, ellie d. has just dropped the post-breakup anthem of the year in her new song, "Get In The Way." This lowkey, kind-of-sad but totally necessary downer of a song calls out the perilous post-breakup dwelling period where people get stuck in their own heads over-analyzing things and, as ellie d.'s title suggests, get in their own way of healing and moving on. Luckily, ellie's soothing vocals and layers of subdued piano magic help ease the breakup of the blues.
