Honeysucker is immediately captivating with soulful 70s energy that has a modern twist to it. 'Soul punk' music is often severely underrated, and it's about time more artists send some love to the genre. Their groovy song "Over & Over" is meant to be heard over & over, left on a loop until it's stuck in your head.

The group's influences are palpable; The Beatles are everpresent, but there are more sonic nods to the likes of Prince, especially in the vocal stylings and amazing bass line. Songs like 'Over & Over' are a true reminder of what good bass lines can do for a single.
