The East Tennessee-born, independent artist and singer/songwriter LB Beistad, prides herself on defying musical categorization, having recorded music encompassing various eclectic genres from folk to grunge to pop.

Now, she has created an attention-grabbing single with a moody, synth-driven sonic element with "I Want You," The song is romantic about love and the longing that sometimes goes it. The special someone in question may be emotionally out of reach.

LB Beistad's slight, feminine, very subdued vocal delivery takes a back seat to the strongest feature of "I Want You" which is the creative high point of the track. That would be the innovative and experimental production that is lush, but with many quirky jagged edges, giving it a genuinely alternative twist.
